    its the gully.........ive no manhole in my yard,last year it got blocked ,i had home emergency cover and they used the rods and it was ok again. got no home emergency cover yet.

    Thanks stem.......will the 6 inch duct be ok for the 6 inch fan....i.e will it stretch slightly to fit over the fan? or do i need to buy 8 inch? im novice to the job mate,thanks in advance.

    hi,(hope ive posted in right place) Ive nearly fitted a fan in the bathroom,drilled the holes ready for mounting,there was a plastic vent on the wall inside which ive took off,made a few adjustments. The fan (150mm 6") fits in nicely ,im leaving the original air brick outside so no need...

    well......ive brought this one and once its gets delivered and fitted il leave an update....39db should be quiet enough i hope in my 6x6 bathroom...well........at least its better than steam/moisture and mould growth!.......and will get rid of them nasty loo smells lol :mrgreen...

    curtains well closed and i have vertical blinds,usually use just the blinds but as its been a cold one,been using curtains aswel,blinds were installed 2 months ago,problem was from before.....all my radiators are just under my window sills....all double rads about 3.5 feet wide and 2.5 feet tall...
