Having just fitted an Aqualisa M100 Thermostatic shower to a gravity fed system, there seems to a water flow problem. When you run the shower at the lowest temperature setting (cold) the water gushes out with plenty of back pressure, but as soon as you increase the temperature, it becomes limp...

I'm in the process of replacing my toilet basin, and when I turned off the mains in the street outside, and opened the taps until they were empty, the cold water pipe kept producing water. In addition the loo kept refilling and had to be flushed to lessen the flow. What does this mean?

Cut what out? The waste pipe is chased into the wall at a fixed angle, are you talking about inserting a bend lower down and meeting the connections earlier? :?

I'm in the process of replacing the existing metal sink with a Belfast unit, and the waste pipe has been chased into the wall behind the current units. It also appears that allowing for the depth of the new sink, the replacement P trap will sit/connect about 50-60mm lower than the waste pipe...
