Is it better to have one long piece of baton for your curtain to be attached to ? Got two smaller bits at each end. Attaching- best to drill through the baton in to masonry with masonry bit then hammer brown plug through?

So to rectify would need to sand out crap bits then stain the same colour then varnish?

Yeah I took it inside overnight as it was freezing. It's a combination of stain and varnish together. Oil based. It was free of any other wax. Painted outside in the sun yesterday but obviously it is winter not so warm.

Didnt stir the varnish/stain I used properlypand it went on the wood blotchy. Stirred it with a thick bit of wood and it went on nicely for all the undersides of my shelves but not top sides. Anyway to get over this? Can u sand it out before 2nd coat?

Would u throw this sheet out? I guess for indoor work, just use clean looking ones I generally screw my sheets up and push into a big flexible tub

So paint during the day and keep all the curtains open. But what if you can't get the sunlight to that area? Is my big light thing the next best alternative? I have this halogen light as well, very bright.

I will wash mine at laundrettel then tumble dry. Will try the poly ones. Dont they rip? When just working in one area especially sanding i guess whole room needs sheeting out. Some of my sheets are covered in paint and creosote. I guess just clean ones for inside work. I store mine in...
