    Oh ok then it could be the pcb that's faulty there were some early ones which did do this after a while! Basically check the flow temperature with the boiler on max! (as it should be for gledhill!) you should be getting around 75-80 degrees! If its any less than 70 you will need to fit a new...

    Peter check you haven't left the filling left on! Pressure should be around 1 bar when systems cold! If that's all ok and pressure still rises and water still goes out O/Flow then there's a good chance the expansion vessel either needs repressurising or is fooked! :roll:

    Make sure gauge is above 1 bar! If it still won't reset then it's good chance the pressure switch is blocked or knackered! Drain boiler then unscrew the pressure switch it's the black plastic round thing with 2 blue wires going to it! Clean out the small hole of any debris and refit and refill...

    If there is definately power to the switched live and the heating neon isn't lit and the selector switch is in hot water and heating position then it can only be either the selector switch or the pcb that is faulty! :roll:

    When they put the new pcb in they MAY have not put the thermostat control knobs back on correctly and thus stop the pcb from being turned up high?
