Is it possible to wall mount a desk?

Thanks for that. I would have thought a desk would need more of a triangle support than that, but it's definitely an idea. Also ideally I would use singular / 'self contained' brackets rather than a shelving system. Thanks

Is it possible to wall mount a desk?

Hi folks, Probably a silly idea, but I'd like to rule it out if not possible. We have a light desk surface at 150x75cm. It will be used as a general purpose desk for my son. It will have a large gaming computer on it but the monitors will be wall mounted. His bed is next to the desk so that...

    Gutter advice

Hi folks, I've had to replace a section of gutter as it had a plant growing inside it. Here's a pic: All's good except when the neighbour empties bath, water comes from where the red arrow is. It's not blocked or anything I think it just comes out so fast there's splash back and it...

    How to fix this leak

Hi folks, I've got a leak here: It's going to the washing machine and leaking just under the blue plastic I think. I'm wondering how easy this is to replace. Do i need special tools. What is the name of the thing? Or does it simply need tightening? Thanks

    Leaking shower shelf

Thanks guys :) I can see this happening :D I have to keep it, it's really useful and only leaks when the shower head gets pointed in there. I'll try silicon and maybe angled plastic. Cheers

    Leaking shower shelf

Oh that looks so much better. I think retro fitting one might be beyond my skills though :( And we can't afford to get it done properly now. Is there nothing I can do to seal it better? It's not in direct flow of water, it's just when someone accidentally points the shower head at it.

    Leaking shower shelf

Hi folks, I've had the bathroom done. The builders made an alcove in the shower: But it leaks badly though the floor and through the kitchen's extractor fan so I need to seal it properly. Do you think I just need to apply sealant or something over the grout in there? Or should it have a...

There's good pruning tips on that site though, but it's getting the right species for London, pot or ground and how to get things started with that I'm really interested in. Thanks

Any tips on buying a wysteria for front of house?

I had a look at that site earlier but it's american and recommends the native american variety. And didn't notice anything about pots. Also I was interested in more local delivery services. But thanks anyway.

Any tips on buying a wysteria for front of house?

Hi folks, We live in London and would like to get a wysteria to grow on the front of the house. We have a SW facing house. It's a sheltered but sunny (on occasion) front. We had one before but I bought it from B&Q when it was only a few inches high. It flourished for years but never...

    Shady grass recomendation

Oh right, that kinda makes sense. I might be doomed then. 6 foot fences and the sun doesn't reach a lot of the edges.

    Shady grass recomendation

Hi folks, I have a lot of shady spots in my garden. In the past I've used shady grass seed from B&Q for these sections. It's ok but goes very thin by late summer then dies over winter. Is there any particularly good seed to use for these sections? Something that might give me better results...
