    Quick Rad Question.....

    Cheers Joe.... I've read on a few forums that to try & tighten the Compression Nut, you really need something to hold the Valve side whilst you tighten the Nut, just in case the Pipe on which the Olive sits twists....? So need to get myself a Pair of Mold Grips or Gland Pliers to hold the Valve...

    Have the Decorators in & they have noticed that my Rad in the Main Bedroom is leaking... Looks like the leak is coming before the Valve, running down the Pipe & into a hole in the Skirting Board, which is why I haven't noticed it!!!!!!     Replacement for Baxi WM 40/4 PF

    To the OP, we've just replaced our Baxi Solo 26-Year Old Boiler with a Baxi EcoBlue Advance Heat 25KW Boiler, Didn't want a Combi, as we have a £1K Aqualisa Pumped-Shower which is the only one I ever use in the house...... And as you can see from the photo, it needed to go in the space vacated...

    Thanks for the replies..... I will take your comments on-board in making the final decision....Yes, It would be easier, if the Heat Link is located in the Airing Cupboard, then it would be just taking the 12v Feed from T1/T2 of the Heat Link & using that on the Tails of the Old Landis & Gyr...

    No Upstairs Lighting

    Hi All, Was called by a neighbour this evening, after she switched on some spotlights Upstairs in the en-suite, the lights spotlights flickered & she lost all the lights upstairs, the Breaker didn't trip, so she called me over to take a look... There is a 240v feed for the Upstairs light...
