I didn't need them thanks. I found some pipe (took a while to get the paint off!) , a couple of olives and two nuts off some other join. Seems to have done the trick. Thanks for all your help.

Unfortunately no, or rather it wouldn't look nice. It's not a straight panel but a curved one specially made for this bath (I think) with lips at the top and bottom to push inot clips. Thanks.
