Here we go. Here we go. I hope you can see these ok.. As you can see the cold feed is the bottom T shape so one end goes to the Tap, and the other goes to the Washing Machine and Dishwasher I can't see any further up valves so this must be the isolator for the Tap?

Surely if i pull the knob off and swap it for the one on the other side, then the HOT tap would be in the same position? But i might have a look at the jumper if you think it could be that? or the washer? :)

Thank you, so you mean a new key (identical to what i have here?) Is it the key thats the problem then, as it spins around in the lock without gripping the lock/bolt :(

I have attached pics (I hope) of our french doors that turn with a special key, seems to have fixed itself and dropped internally as the key no longer has any 'purchase' and we can't undo the lock, hence not being able to open our french doors?! I think this has just 'stuck' over time and over...
