Powermax 155 boiler & British Gas service plan

He was clearly bullshi**in you about parts not being available. Parts are easily obtainable. You were lucky that the 1st engineer chickened out of servicing your boiler, there is a real issue with Engineers being very reluctant in servicing the IMI Range Powermax boilers. Might be...

    Which Boiler ???

Hi, We are about to replace our boiler. Can you offer your opinions on a good sound boiler to go for, we have a 2 bedroom semi-detached, 2 bedroom property with x5 radiators. The Vaillant range seem a good bet ?? But which model is best suited for me ? Thanks,

So many options, so little time. Help needed with roof!

In my opinion, the best option is to apply bitumen based membranes, by torch applied application. With lead abutment flashings 150mm above finished roof level. They are robust and last years if applied properly. Regards,

    Flat roof replacement advice

Hi, I would recommend a felt finish membrane also. It is far more robust than single-ply products, and is more cost effective than lead by far - and less desirable to thieves !! It depends on cost, but Bauder Ltd provide the best bitumen based membranes on the market, but obviously they...

    Powermax 135 Boiler Problem !!!

Hi BaxPoti, thanks for your reply. The part we need is actually a pipe assembly (10mm dia pipe) which runs vertically up the boiler in a kind of 'S' shape, not the gas valve. I doubt we'll find it anyway.
