Hi all looking to paint my kitchen doors as to buy new doors for my kitchen im looking at £300+ they are pine with an oak stain does anyone know if i can prime and spray and lacquer with normal car paint and if not what should i but i dont want to roller or brush i want a smooth gloss finish.

I have a 10mm system downstairs and i have just gone to fit a towel rad upstairs with all my 10mm fitting and found out that some genius has put 8mm piping upstairs does anyone have any suggestions how i can get my 10 mm fittings and pipe to fit to the existing 8mm pipe

My only other option is compression do you think that will be alright as i cant really solder due to where it is unless i make a hole in the wall which i dont want to do as i have just had the room redecorated

It isnt too bad its noticeable if you look at it but it more slightly egg shaped would it be better to fit a compression elbow or push fit
