Opened next inspection chamber off my driveway and found full of rubble, brick and concrete. Went further up and when I released another inspection cover the smell was unreal and found it full of sewage/water....

    Possible airlocked soil pipe

Evening all. Just wondering if the air admittance valve that's on the soil pipe in the loft could fail and would cause water to gurgle and splutter out if the shower trap when the bath is emptied or the toilet is flushed? My house is a new build and this has only started occurring tonight but...

Thanks for your help. Just to cover all bases, I ordered a new spark plug as I noticed it was quite oily on the tip so for sake of a few quid I might aswell just change it. A new fuel filter purchased also and I'll check the exhaust when the other bits arrive. I'm going to empty the fuel tank...

    Raised bed using OSB sheets

I was looking today at treated timber and I‘m thinking I may go with that idea for strength and cement board the front to tile on. I’ve re-measured it and it’s 400mm high. The reason for this is because I have an existing raised bed made out of sleepers so I kind of want to try keep it all the...

    Raised bed using OSB sheets

Ah I’ve never used that, thanks for that. Would that be strong to take the weight of the decorative stones pile behind it?

    Raised bed using OSB sheets

Afternoon all. Just after some advice and opinions please if I may. I‘m wanting to create a raised bed in the front garden which will mainly contain decorative stones with artificial tree’s & plants in. Leaking metal shed

Yeah it has 2 x air vents in the rear panel. It doesn't seem to be condensation as it only really occurs when there's been a down pour. Its as if its leaking in under the shed frame but I'm unsure how as I've silicone sealed inside and outside the base.

    Leaking metal shed

Evening all. I have a metal yard master type shed sat on a osb wooden base. I covered the whole wooden floor with a visqueen sheet before placing the shed on top. I silicone sealed around the outside and inside of the shed base to prevent water coming in and finished it off laying a rubber mat...
