A digital display won't make any difference will it ? Surely it's down to the electronics.....isn't the RTS 1 an electronic device ?

It's on the landing at the top of the stairs.There's a rad at the bottom of the stairs.There's no draughts. There's 3 degrees or thereabouts between on and off

Ok,so I have a Drayton RTS 1 room stat set at 21 degrees on the dial. I can feel the temperature dropping but it has to be a good 3 or 4 degrees below that before the boiler kicks back in. Is that normal ? Or should it be coming in as soon as the temperature drops below 21' in which case...

I have a workshop with a concrete floor that I have to sweep every day,it gets very dusty....it's a bodyshop. I was wondering if a leaf blower set to vacuum would pick up the dust better than me....no wet debris at all,just dust and the odd bit of masking tape and paper

are they any good as vacuums ? For example will they pick up dust off a concrete floor ?

Many years ago I laid a patio in my back garden over a sand base. I'm fighting a yearly battle with the dreaded weed ! Could I lift the slabs and lay a membrane over the sand and then re lay the slabs ? Will this work ?

Are you referring to this ? And which side of the filter are you connecting the modem to? Because if it's the DSL side, there's a good chance you'll introduce noise in ADSL frequencies. If it's the phone side, dialup may not work properly. the plugs are different aren't they so they can...
