I've just built a Yardmaster metal garden shed over a slab base but anchored into concrete in the corners.
It comes with a metal frame that you lay under a wooden floor to provide support.
I'm now contemplating what flooring to use.
One option might be t+g chipboard sheet.I know it's not meant for outdoor use but I was thinking if I painted or sealed both sides before laying it would resist the elements.
I like the t+g aspect as it will give a better seal against bugs etc.
Otherwise it will probably have to be marine ply

what do you think ?

I tried painting it with the same shed paint I used for the outside but it wouldn't absorb any of it, it just beaded off.

Found a local supplier who has 8 x 4 sheets of exterior ply at £20 + vat so I'm going down that route.

Will it need sealing/painting and if so what's the best way ?
