    Tightening loose taps.

I've got some Bristam mixer kitchen sink taps and they are loose. The threaded rod below the tap is loose and need tightening. I think the only way to access it is to use some sort of very long socket spanner but I can't seem to find any. How do people tighten the rod from below?

    Dry lining and condensation

I think cold air is coming in from the top of the boards from the roof space. I just thought of warm air inside and cold air behind the boards might cause condensation

    Dry lining and condensation

I've dry lined our new kitchen and have had it skimmed. I unscrewed one of the sockets to level it and realised there is quite a bit of airflow behind there. When the kitchen is in use and warm won't condensation form on the walls?

    Tiling onto new Weyroc floor

If you use clear-seal and seal the grout wouldn't that stop any water being absorbed down to the boards? I've not used it myself yet but by all accounts its good stuff.

Could someone explain the differences between the trowels please. There are square notched and rounded ones in different sizes. Is it just personal preference or is there a specific reason for the different types?

Earth question in a 4 gang switch

There definietely isn't an earth there. The wires were in before we ever moved here seven years ago. They seemed to have twin core cables just in this light switch. I've checked others around the house and they seem ok. Is it ok to take an earth from the switch in the other room just the...
