Hi, I need to remove this light fitting as I want to clean the inside of it. Do I simpy press the button to detatch and will this make it all come off straight away? Or is there something else I will need to do? Also, is it straightforward to reattach? Thanks

Hi I've been using this washing machine a few week. I don't have the manual. I did a wash today on the setting shown (40C) and the wash lasted ages, at least two hours. Does this look like the right setting for a regular 40 wash or would that be the 40 eco or 40 synthetics? Thanks

Hello, The windows in my bedroom and living room are the same design but the window in my bedroom can only stay open when it clicks into place. The living room window is able to stay open above the notches which allows the window to open more. I've attached a picture of the living room window...

Hello, The light inside my oven flickers on and off depending on the temperature it's set on. The light and heat only come on at approx 190, 210 and 230+ degrees; at all other temps the light stays off and the oven doesn't get hot. The cooker on/off switch on the wall remains lit throughout...

So as long as the mains switch is turned off it will be completely safe to touch the cover? I haven't done this sort of thing before and heard stories of people getting electrocuted tampering with electrics in the home. While on the subject, if tightening the screws doesn't solve the problem...

The cooker connection unit has loosened. The cooker cable is very short. I want to tighten the screws to see if this will stop the flickering. How can I do this safely? Turn off the cooker mains switch will do and then tighten the screws? Thank you
