Hi I have an electric shower downstairs that I want to get shot of. The cold water feed comes from upstairs, would I be able to branch off the hot water feed from the combi (at a suitable point i.e. under the bath) and follow this cold pipe down) This way I could fit a mixer shower...

Just a quick one, to fit a new radiator in my bathroom, is all I need to do theoretically?? Tee off from the flow and return from another nearby radiators pipework and into the new rad (via isolating valves to give me time to get it right)??? It is 8mm microbore by the way if that...

    Plasterboard onto render?

HI I've just removed all of the tiles from my bathroom walls. The plasterboard walls are still ok (badly secured tiles) and so am not concerned about these, however on the blockwork walls I have ended up pulling most of the skim coat off with the tiles. I am now left with the base...

Does anybody know if those vertical blinds can be trimmed down. The long rectangular box section bracket that is?? The actual cutting down looks easy enough but am unsure if the additional 'slack' in the rope will allow the blinds to work? the reason being, the blind is in a window...

    Strip of land with photo's!!

I agree I need some sort of retention at the bottom, however there is literally only two inches of earth above concrete so I cant peg down with say those log effect edgings. I could dig out the earth and cement some kerb edging in place but then it wouldnt fit in with the two strips either...

Hi I am not sure that it make's any difference as to the ownership or positioning of the land, but for the sake of argument the land belongs to me. My drive ends then there is a public access road runnig across the end of the drive up to the end of the cul de sac and the strip of land is...
