My lad is having a new combi boiler, his choices are, Vokera Easy Heat 29kw, Ravenheat Combi 25kw, his budget is small so we need a decent boiler for under £600. Any advice please. It will be fitted by a gas registered installer.

No m8, they used to be the small 8 x 4 flat red tiles, my roof was replaced & flashbanding fitted over the join.

Well, as far as i`m concerned, if it doesnt look right, it isnt right. We had no noise before & I dont intend listening to it in the future. Before my roof was touched, without my (consent), it was flat, looked fine & didnt whistle, & i`m buggered if I will put up with anything less than it was.

Thanks, the tile is a rough sand faced tile, & the white grout will be very difficult to remove, I did think I could remove most of it, use the colourant, then re grout with the grey grout

They look a bit easier to remove the grout, I did think of trying the colourant http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/251336118177?var=550279092030&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT but this is a wet room. The tiles are a sand finish & it would be hard to get all the white grout out without chipping the tiles...
