Vokera Compact 24 Lossing Water Pressure.

Hi, my combi-boiler has started losing water pressure on the CH. I have just done some alterations with some rads but the pressure does not keep up. There appears to be no leaks any where, including the news ones & old connections. The PRV is not leaking or any visible leaks from the boiler...

    Whrilpool AWO/D 4507 noisy/banging drum!

Hi, the washer is only about 1 year old & to be honest it was like that from new. I thought it might have been us putting too much in but it is a 7kg load machine & it does bang around even with little washing in it. It seems to me that the cloths are not balanced out so this is causing an...

The drum seems to bang around alot as though the drum was loose. I've had a look in the back to see if any thing has come off but it had 2 springs on...

    Closing cavity at floor level.

Hi, thanks for the replys. The floor is a concrete slab. The inner blockwork is level with the slab level at the moment. So the best thing is to remove a course of the inner blockwork, visqueen, then fill in the whole cavity upto the outer brickwork. Hope my answer is clear.

    Dribble from toilet!

Hi, I'm fitting a toilet in en-suite & just having a little problem. The finned flush pipe seal which goes in to back of the pan has a small dribble leaking from it. I've tried re-seating the seal, adjusting pipe angle into seal but to no avail. Any trick i'm missing? Thanks.

Thanks for all your help........but the last question...honest. If the fan is located in the loft does it still require a 3 pole fan isolator switch outside the room. Thanks.

    12V shower extractor & light.

Hi, thanks for the replys. I have a 'inline' extractor with a shower light. The light is a 12V bulb connected by PVC hose to a 240v fan mounted in the loft. Is this OK?

    12V shower extractor & light.

I need a extractor with a light for my en-suite shower. It will be about 2.15m from the shower floor so I've been told that it must be a 12V extractor. Now does that mean just the light needs to be 12V or also the actual fan, which will be mounted in the loft area. Thanks.

    Ring cable installation.

Sorry, yes its a 'B32' trip fuse for the ring & yes the lights will be connected to the existing lighting circuit protected by a 'B6' fuse. No kitchen or bathroom but a downstairs toilet with a single light switch on the outside of the room.

    Ring cable installation.

The ring is protected by a 'R32' MCB & a 80A RCCB. Will a 'qualified' sparky need to certify this for Building control? Thanks, Andy.

    Ring cable installation.

I'm wiring my single storey extension & would like some advice please. The 2.5mm ring main cable is to be conected to extend the existing ring main. The cable cliped to the breeze block wall, covered with PVC capping & then covered by 'dot n dab' plasterboard wall. Is this ok? Thanks, Andy.
