Yep, it definitely does, but I have the soil stack to the left and the frame is not sitting properly, so it may just about work but I will measure. Is there another way I could do this?

Ah, not quite. Flat against the wall, so for the frame can still be attached as designed.

Thanks, it is a plug as I managed to pull it out. This soil stack is the lowest and only has this toilet and basin feeding in into it. My other soil stacks have durgos and terminate into the loft. Any advice on what I can use to plug the toilet pipe with as shown in the second photo?

Thank you. Coincidentally that's the same glue I just went and bought. The last bit that I'm not quite sure of, is the mention of drilling at an 'angle'? My understanding was that I'd be drilling through the tread and into the top of the riser, where the tread is rebated to accept the riser.

I appreciate the feedback but there was no other way this could have been done and I did pilot each screw and have countersunk also. From the looks of it, it's improved our situation by 80%. Time will tell if it's short lived or not.
