    Greenstar Junior 28i problems

Hi, The boiler is in the kitchen. I spoke to WB and they said £285 for supply and fit. Does this sound a fair price? Also, is there anything to stop this happening in the future?

    Greenstar Junior 28i problems

My parents had a Greenstar junior 28i installed 2 years and 6 months ago. System was powerflushed before installation, and serviced every 12 months. Well known Corgi company installed it. Over the last few months the hot water has been running hot for a few minutes then cold, then hot again...

    Insulation on concrete

Hi I am doing a kitchen renovation and will be tiling the floor in a week or so. Is there any type of insulation that I can lay on the concrete before tiling over? I don't really want to put underfloor heating in, but anything that can help keep the tiles warm would help. Thanks

    Cracking wall

I'm totally with Joe on this one, wind up merchant or not. Sounds like classic MINIMUM spec build quality, just like any of the flats/houses I"ve seen built recently. Next thing people will be saying is that metal stud partition walls are great. 7NM+ for all internal walls FTW.

    Does this quote sound fair?

If PIR is a check on existing ciruits, then yes. At present, there is only a cooker circuit, socket ring and lighting circuit, so only 3 fuses in the current boad are used. I cant really see adding any more seeing as all the wiring is laid under a concrete floor.

    Good Decking ??

The options are treated softwood or hardwood. Softwood is lighter in colour and most looks green due to the pressure treatment to make it hardier. Hardwood is better looking (deep rich browns), more resiliant to the weather, but is more expensive, around £40 m2. Search for IPE decking...
