    Is this allowed? I thought rainwater had to be discharged into a gulley or approved soakaway. New fire door fitted by contractor and downpipe moved with old drain/gulley cemented over, as in image.

    Old copper waste pipe connection

    Need a bit of advice on connecting up to this old soil pipe connection. Existing connection is approx 35mm copper and will connect a small basin and shower only. Is it possible to connect direct to copper under floor inside so as not to disturb the soil stack?
