    Thanks. I guess I PVA the new bonding, extg wall but not the plasterboard? There are wooden beads either side of the gyproc, I can just about chisel some of it out, but not all of it. I guess I can squeeze bonding into the gaps?

    Thanks for your reply. The plasterboard is already in place and sits back from the existing wall by up to 10mm in some places, less in other places, that's why I thought to use bonding to bring it flush. Is that okay?

    Is this correct? Coat the area with 2 coats of PVA Use multifinish, 2 coats I guess I just grade the multi down to nothing as I get a little way along the all, then sand the edges when it's dry? Some of the wall has divets about 50mm diameter, and 10mm deep, will the multi fill these...

    I'm about to remove a small wall (it's not structural). It's a very old building with thick, solid masonary walls. After I've taken it out I want to just make it tidy before deciding what to do next. I'm anticipating bits of small brick will come loose, and they'll be bits sticking out...

    I've built a partition in a bedroom, but it's not perfectly vertical. The stud/plasterboard is positioned next to a window, theres a gap of about 8mm between the new wall and the return on the window (at the top), but the partition is only about 3mm away at the bottom of the window return...

    I've been trying to understand what to use to fill cracks, holes etc. It seems you can use polyfilla, one coat, hardwall, easy fill, bonding, multifinish... Is there a simple guide, what to use and when? Any help appreciated.
