    thought that this was the wall unit from hell. It turns out, that someone (me) had applied mastic between the unit and the tiles underneath. And that's why it wouldn't come off. Definitely my dimmest moment of the year thus far :mrgreen: Thanks for the help as always guys

    Externally, no as it is finished with GRP Internally it's a standard plasterboard finish with rigid insulation tightly packed next to the plasterboard.

    Really. I thought I'd have to make a small chase. Place conduit/wire in said chase. Then slap on some 5 to 1 sand/cement to fill the chase and paint over.
