Which MK faceplates would these fit in

Because these cost nothing and the cheapest ones i found in uk (not MK) were working out around £6 a pop besides i dont think MK do FTP modules. Basically if i were to buy them I would be paying around 60-70 quid. Id rather have some free, what you think ;)

    soldering

hi guys, thanks for the replies I was actually practicing today and really made a mess of things. had blobs of solder on the edges rather than a neat rim Taking what you guys have said into account, is it correct that I need to (once cleaned and fluxed etc) heat the joint and keep touching...

Need help with stair opening guys,

Hi big all, thanks for the links matey. I like the curvy chrome trimming, could do with that in certain places in the building. Regrding the edge, I was looking for something more L shaped i.e. something that would fit snugly on the actual corner itself. The only thing i can think of is some...

Best way to secure wood trimming/edge on laminate floors?

Terry its a neat little staple gun with the bonus of firing nails too. Once in the nails are hardly visible, only a small dot let us know how you get on Btw the double sided tape idea is great too but be carefull not to take the protective seal off all at once. Im sure you would have seen...

How should i get carpet fit to this staircase

Hi Matty and Symptoms, once again thanks for your help and contribution guys. Problem with whipped edge is that as you may not be able to see clearly from the pics the tops of the steps are not the most neatest in the world i.e. they have rough edges etc and not something I can really sand...

Best way to secure wood trimming/edge on laminate floors?

Are you on about wood laminate trim? If so then there is believe it or not a cheap enough staple gun (tacwise) that also fires smallish nails that actually works lol. I bought one from Screwfix as i didnt really have a need for the more expensive paslode thingies which as Jaffa has referred...

Need help with stair opening guys,

Matty I was thinking of this but to be honest have become lazy with all the little jobs and was trying to find a much quicker solution. If worst comes to worst Ill have to do as such i.e. have some timber overhang the edge having the edges of the timber planed and then butt another piece of...

Help with a small Heat Store water heater-dribbles a little

spudkey, basically I have cold water coming in from the mains at pretty decent pressure. It comes in via speedfit attachment to a copper pipe that is fixed to the pressure release valve as can be seen in the photo. Would it be safe for me to simply attach some form of piping that fixes to the...

Help with a small Heat Store water heater-dribbles a little

Hi mogget thanks for the reply matey, to be honest I had no real intention of capping it as it was installed before I took ownership of the building and it about the only thing i kept since it was such a tidy little water heater i.e. small yet so effective as it warms the water a great deal...
