    Moving RCD Box

There is enough slack on the cables however it appears that some cables are coming from the back of the unit as well. About qualifications dont have but have enough experience i think.

    Moving RCD Box

Hi my gas meter is going to be moved in order to leave room for a washroom under the stairs. SGN has agreed to move it less than a metre from its current position but the RCD box has to be moved slightly to the right (around 20cm) in order to comply with the 150mm clearance. Is this something I...

    Mineral wool quote

Hi all, Our kitchen extension is nearly finished and we have been quoted £300 for pumping mineral wool in a cavity wall around 3x3 metres. The other wall is internal so it does not need insulation. Does it sound reasonable in Hampshire?

    Sewage pipe location

Hi all, We are building an extension to our kitchen which will extend about two metres into the garden. The builder inspector noticed that there is a sewage pipe running under the garden (there is a cast iron covering a bit of it). He now wants to know where this pipe goes so he is kind of...

    Moving a gas meter

Dear all, We are planning to install a bathroom under the stairs but the gas meter is a bit in the way and we would like to get it moved about a meter away from its current position. I assume it has to be done by British Gas? Or can it be done by anyone with a gas safety certificate?

    Vinil for a shed's roof?

What I like about vinyl is that you can chose within a wide range of designs and give a "funky" touch to the shed. Felt is boring, probably better but boring.
