What flue pipe for small wood burner

‘Question is should the flue which will go up through the roof and be circa 2m long be single rigid pipe or a twin walled flexi pipe’ not quite sure how you interpret my original post in the way you have. Anyway, your help to others is to be applauded but if you want to give advise I suggest...

What flue pipe for small wood burner

There you go!, thanks for that Bernard and lostinm, very helpful. It’s what I call a teeny bit of pragmatism which is all that I was asking about. So much better to be helpful than send smart arse replies. Cheers

What flue pipe for small wood burner

What a juvenile response that is.....I didn’t for one moment suggest the answer was incorrect and I think you and your fellow keyboard warriors fully understand that. My question was simply intended to allow an examination of what allowances, if any, might be sensible bearing in mind the...

What flue pipe for small wood burner

4.5 metres that would take it 2.5m above the roof. Presumably there is room for a pragmatic appraisal of what will be sufficient

Luxury vinyl tiles on old well bedded and flat adhesive?.

The property is a 30 year old semi with full dpm protection. The tiles that we lifted were commonly called ‘Marley vinyls’ they are not the very old stuff from the 40’s so asbestos is not an issue. I’m thinking something like Ball Stopgap 1200 might do the trick.

Luxury vinyl tiles on old well bedded and flat adhesive?.

Hi, as the listing says I am about to lay 25m2 of Polyflor vinyl tiles(it’s the same as Karndean). The previous covering was carpet under which there were those very old almost plastic 300 x 300 tiles. They have come up very easily and have left a very thin perfectly smooth black coating on the...

Blending in patches of render ??

I am renovating a row of four terraced houses. We had to change the position of some of the windows and doors which meant the smooth rendered exterior needed to be patched up. It was not possible to achieve a perfect, none-noticeable join between the old and new and I am now looking for the...
