Hi guys, anyone had any experience of Tar and Chip. I am doing a renovation and have three areas of flat smooth concrete already laid that I want to make more aesthetically pleasing to the eye.....exam are is about 20m2
An option is to apply a bitumen and spread over a washed gravel, press into place then sweep of excess.
If anyone has had a go at this I would be interested to know what material you used and what was the end result like.
Cheers

Done right, it will be fine. And you can choose different gravel.

But it's not really DIYable, otherwise it becomes a classic "gypsy drive" which lasts about 5 minutes

Hi Woody, the area of each of the three areas is about 20m2 and the only use will be for the occupants of the house as a light use patio......no vehicular traffic so hopefully I can get away with a hand job so to speak!
My lads are pretty good craftsmen. Cheers
