    Solar Design

Thanks but I'm not sure that is correct as I have seen many panel on flat roofs that have been angled. I believe if you involve planning and get permission then you can alter the angle. Not 100% sure but guess I will find out during my investigations....

    Solar Design

Thanks, I was not aware of that but I need to discuss with planning anyway as my build has had the permitted development rights removed and I only have permission for 2 of the 3 roofs at the moment. Thanks, I I've had a quick look at the calculator and it does look like it may do the trick. I...

What is this used for please?

It does have various sizes noted on it, including 14mm and 16mm so one of those may work.

Alarm Panel Power / Ethernet Hub Power

Thanks, that's what I'm planning to do, have a system that will disconnect the vital circuits from the mains and use the battery in times of a power cut. Not sure how this would work if an individual circuit tripped out though?

What is this used for please?

Would the heating and quenching make the copper weaker and therefore unsuitable for domestic plumbing?

@RandomGrinch Thanks for that info. I guess I'll probably just go down the coupler route then. (y)

Tiles Debris Between Tile and Felt

I have decided that I will remove the debris from the outside by removing / lifting tiles as @kp00110 suggested. However I'm gonna wait until the weathers a bit warmer and the roof is not covered in frost! Thanks to all for you help.

    RJ45

Thanks all for your help. (y) I have purchased a ratchet crimper, 100 shielded cat6 pass through plugs and 100 boots of mixed colours. All have arrived and seem to appear decent quality. Next step is to try and see if I can knock up a patch lead before I start to mess about with the network...

Hi all, One of my TRV heads has broken and I only want to replace the head and not the valve. After a quick google I think I will need to use the exact same head to ensure the calibration is correct. It is a Boss with no part number on it and it is quite old so I am hoping that someone can...

Tiles Debris Between Tile and Felt

In the middle about 2/3 of the way down the pic it shows the felt being stretched by the debris which is jammed between the underside of the tile and the felt. I suppose that could be an option. May be a bit difficult to find the right tile to lift.
