HI Recently both fridge & freezer sections ceased to be cold and the compressor was not running at all. After putting a 'short' in the thermostat circuit it worked.I replaced the thermostat and it worked fine for 2 days but now it has gone again.not cold at all and the compressor not 'kicking'...

If it has bubbles or doesn't come out how do i bleed it ?

I think it is definately an air lock.i can hear it coughing & spluttering in the pipes as it heats up. To drain and refill do I remove bottom rad hose,flush through,then refill very slowly via the expansion tank ?
