    I just wonder if it could be the myson Motorised valve. Does anyone know how this works? Maybe it's semi-blocked when set to CH and DHW on? Could this explain why the one radiator isn't hot... clutching at straws really I'm sure I'll have to get a plumber in but want to understand the problem!

    now I'm really confused, which doesn't take much when it comes ot DIY. I removed the plastic cap and there was a little metal thing sticking out and there is a little bit of water... How can I test if the pump is actually working from this?

    The pump is set to 3. The reason I don't think it's working is because when just the CH comes on I can hear the water knocking around in the pipes quite loudly. That doesn't happen when the CH and DHW is on...

    Hi, After tiling the bathroom I don't know how to tidy up the gap between the tiles and the carpet. I did try using one of those metal plates but it doesn't fit properly. I've attached a photo I just wonder if anyone has any tips? Photo attached Mark

    Hi, I've recently tiled our bathroom floor and have fitted the toilet. I don't want to drill into the tiles (lots of pipes below) I was thinking of using no more nails to attach the toilet to the floor. Has anyone got any thoughts on this or alternatives? Thanks Mark

    Dust trapped under primer sealer

    Hi, Last night I applied some alkali resistant primer sealer to a newly skimmed celing however I didn't clean the surfance first. I can see lots of bits of dust... Should I sand these down or if I apply paint will it be hidden? Thanks Mark ( not a DIY Expert! )

    Hi, I'm redecorating my bathroom will have a shower in the bath. I have a plasterer coming around tomorrow to put up normal plasterboard and then skim reading for tiling. I plan to tile the whole room roof to celling. Will this be sufficiently waterproof? Thanks Mark

    How long to try rendered wall?

    Hi, We're re-doing our bathroom. Two of the walls are breeze block. Plasterer recommended floating them. If this better than plasterboard? Will it be waterproof? How long will it take to dry before we can tile on it? I know I should have asked him these quesitons but I forgot...
