Hi,when emulsioning walls when you've done all the cutting in on a wall how long do you leave it before rolling it out,I've been rolling it as soon as I've finished cutting in so it doesn't dry and leave framing ,is this the right way can anyone tell me

Because the two walls in question have some nasty cracks in them and the wall doctor is supposed to be stronger,and the other walls in the room are already lined with normal lining paper

Hi,I've got two walls to line with wall doctor lining paper,the other walls are lined with normal lining paper,so the finish is the same will it be ok to line over the wall doctor with normal lining paper

Hi,when painting exterior woodwork is spot priming bare wood,then undercoating over the primer,then undercoating the whole lot,then applying two top coats the way most do it ,using dulux weathershield(oil based)

Ive got some exterior sash windows to re paint,I've prepped them all,there is a lot of bare timber and also a lot of rotten timber which has been removed and repaired with dry flex.im gonna use dulux weathershield u/c and gloss,but as some of the wood has a lot of knots in it i was gona prime it...

No it's not water based,it's oil based I've used it for a few years and never had this problem

Has anyone else had a this problem with dulux weathershield gloss,after using it and putting the brush in my brush mate box ,I come back the next day to re use the brush and it seems quite stiff,at first I thougt it might be the brush but I've tried several new ones with it and it does exactly...

On the same subject does anyone use the blue preservative primer to spot prime and do you have to use it when using weathershield u/c and gloss

I'm using dulux trade weathershield u/c and gloss on some exterior woodwork,the bare timber that was exposed during the prep work has been primed with normal oil based primer,will this be ok under the weathershield system can anyone tell me many thanks

Hi,I have a hallway which has been stripped,the walls are really old and are gona be lined most of the walls are back to plaster but there is a lot of filling to be done,do you think it will be ok to fill these without sealing them,I will be sizing the Walls before lining many thanks
