ive not long put a new roof on using fibre cement tiles and ive noticed from other roofs they have bedded down the ridge tiles down but not pointed down the sides of them is this ok ? i can understand it being fine on the the ridge but i have to bed some down on the hip of my roof and wondering...

because before i even posted this thread i looked for the info i needed on the forums and in " wiki " yet because im no expert on the electrics i wasent to sure what i was looking for but anyway nevermind and thanks for the replys and lessons on how to use Wiki :wink:

im about to install some fibre cement tiles on my roof and was wondering if i could get away with using a small 4" angle grinder for the cuts ,would this be ok? i have a stihl saw but i think thats a bit o.t.t looked into hiring out a slate cutter . thanks for any info on this matter

found it happened on boards , nope 1st got was fine i thought maybe it was due to some parts being a little thinner then the rest and maybe this had resulted in it drying out alot quicker b4 i had applied the 2nd coat but thanks for the replys guys its appreciated :D

yep that was my plan for the valley to get x2 and run it all the way down ,like you say i will probly have to interfear with next door removing the plastic joiner and connecting my tiles onto his , thanks for the reply all the info i can get helps :D

the riviver is pritty cheap and standard , but like stated use glue if the thread arent worn :D

ive done alot of plastering but just lately i had a few times when once i had applied the 2nd coat and it was ready to trowel out it would blister up , is this due to the 1st coat dryin out to fast ? or the 1st coat being to thin in certain places., its not like its the whole wall/ceiling...

if u can get to the pipes in the wall cant you cut them if so can u run (solder) them along behind the back of the skirting to the desidered location?

why dont u get a Tap reviver kit, turn your water off remove the plate of the top and screw and using adjustable remove the old tap and replace with the riviver
