ive done alot of plastering but just lately i had a few times when once i had applied the 2nd coat and it was ready to trowel out it would blister up , is this due to the 1st coat dryin out to fast ?

or the 1st coat being to thin in certain places., its not like its the whole wall/ceiling

thanks in advance im just curious since i have applied a thicker 2nd coat which seems to have solved the problem

found it happened on boards , nope 1st got was fine i thought maybe it was due to some parts being a little thinner then the rest and maybe this had resulted in it drying out alot quicker b4 i had applied the 2nd coat but thanks for the replys guys its appreciated :D
