    Thanks...yes, appreciate that. I don't think I can move it to the right, access at top is too difficult but I will double check. Is it really necessary, given the weight of the roof means the wall plate is in compression ?

    Thanks for reply...yes absolutely...but what is the best strategy for insulation... Between plasterboard ceiling and tiles most of it is empty...no insulation...I have approx. 10 cm gap. So I could do, vapour barrier on plasterboard and then maybe 8cm of something like this...
