    Moving Meter

    i was quoted £650 last week by EDF to move 4 metres!!, even though I have dug the hole, the main cable into the house runs straight past where the new meter is and the new meter box is already fitted to the wall. Bit of a rip off I think :(

    There is a new ring being run in the new extension and I would like to add one socket to the existing bedroom and this can simply be done by pushing the ring through the wall to facilitate the socket, so no it wont be a spur. Many thanks for all your advice

    Wet room waste

    the lamps are gu10 50w so will give out heat, they are the fire rated ones in there own enclosure. I expect the waste to run approx 3-4 inches from the lights. Moving the lights isnt an option as there is simply too many in the downstairs ceiling
