I agree that if I have hinges to the left and right I will need a corner post. I want to create a fold out corner, so both doors swing out on one set of hinges, then hinge again where the two doors join.

Good discussion, thanks for your comments. Im going to prep it today and coat it with a water based primer / undercoat. Ill do a test patch on some sealed ply with the 10% pva / emulsion then re evaluate. Thanks again, I'll post up my results when I'm through.

I must paint the woodwork of our porch which I will use white gloss paint, but the ceiling needs to be a matt finish. The porch is open to two sides so I guess that emulsion would be unsuitable. Is it acceptable to run a single conductor next to twin and earth to allow me to rig up a 2way switch? rather than buying a reel of 3core and earth.

2 good points i had not considered, but means its possible though . I make sure its rated for heating systems, and fit a valve either side (if used for both flow and return). Could have saved myself a bit of time there if I'd known. Thanks for your advice.
