earth bonding for hot and cold water pipes

I re did some plumbing in the kitchen, like for like, but cant find a strap from hot to cold pipes. I just want to check that-that is what is required.

You would normally find the bonding clamp just after the internal stop tap on the cold supply. It may not be required, depending on the material in which your water supply enters the building. Plastic piping could possible exclude the requirement for bonding the water service.

As below, if it is supplementary bonding that your question is regarding, it not a requirement in a kitchen. But do not confuse equipotential bonding and supplementary bonding! There is a requirement for the cold water services pipe to be bonded, if metallic. Again just after the internal stop tap, is norm.

Despite what some people will no doubt pop up and tell you, supplementary equipotential bonding is not required in a kitchen.
