Thanks....its an amazing floor once it's sanded..we have it in the living room and dining room but we have a dog that's scrapes and scratches the floors and the hall would be a mess as he sleeps there and goes nuts when the door goes.....later on once we no longer have a dog i would like to rip...

Thanks vinn...ive laid them down in order to mark a straight line to work from .....i was going to Have a row of full tiles butted up to the threshold however i was told that was the wrong way to do it and that it should be half a tile...i will have half tiles along the walls Cheers Pete

When tiling up to a doorway should i set my tiles out so that i have a full tile finishing in front of the threshold or should it be a half tile......hope this makes sense Pete

Was up today...the sealant is set so im just going to leave it and see what happens when it rains..i used no nonsense lead sealant and completely filled the joint

When i was fitting a new lead flashing round my chimney (flat roof)i couldn't get the flashing all the way into the channel. In some bits the flashing just sits flush with the channel. I have gunned it up with copious amounts of lead seal mastic and sealed it completely. Will this be enough to...

I'm putting in a wc downstairs and ordered 8 lengths of 3x2 from beatsons ...the order came today and instead of 3x2 it's 2x5 .....the guy says that it's clear and is standard for building partitions....but it looks a bit thin to me....is this suitable for building a partition wall and putting...

Has anyone used the rubba roof liquid waterproofer......i have a leak on my flat roof but i can't see anything obvious as the roof is in pretty good shape .....this stuff looks like you just paint it on and it seals and waterproofs everything. ....is it this simple or should i avoid it Thanks Pete
