    Hi, what are the regs for heat alarm in the kitchen regarding location? Linking with smoke alarms, one in hall and two in landing. Smoke alarms are located so they are less than 7.5m from any bedroom.

    Has anyone installed above. Need to know output of above and what cabling needed. Also induction hobs, what cable size is required for these? I know i will be safe with 10mm, but will i be able to get away with 6mm. Cable run is 20m. Also cooker switch is mounted 1150mm from finished floor...

    Thanks for advice. Plumbers came today.Started! Seemed ok with design layouts of bathroom and ensuites. Needed to know what shower mixers i was using as these pipes are sunk in concrete wall. Can anyone recommend an easy to use, not too expensive (need 3) modern looking mixer...

    Plumbers coming to house end of week for 1st fix.(hopefully!) Do they need to know exactly where everything is going? Not chosen bathroom suites yet. Because different baths etc waste in different places. These bathrooms are all upstaires which at the moment is just bare joists
