Hi, been getting round to replacing all sockets and run into a problem. On one socket all the wires are too short they have been very snugly pushed in and all the ends were weak so snipped them off now they too short for new socket. What's the best way to extend these wires now the earth is ok...

Hi, just changing the sockets in house and one of the double sockets the earth is too short for new socket connections as they on other side on old socket. Would it be ok to get a wago connector or block and extend in that way? Any help would be appreciated

Just found a crack chipped it back and found this looks like a layer of bonding and plaster then some textured wallpaper. Do I just skim over this bit or do I just take it all off it's coming off fairly easy and use this plaster underneath to paint. Any suggestions please

Yeah I turned back on and its tripped. No I tagged the live switch to make sure. Its come from the new lights wires you cannot tell what is the live and what's the neutral so I'm guessing I've wired them wrong. This is the new light wiring. How do you tell? https://ibb.co/Lr1t1f1
