Got up from bed this morning and found the wife has emulsioned on new plastered walls...it could have been a good thing to get her painting if it worked.....but......sadly it didnt... Shes left huge air bubbles under the emulsion using the roller...i rubbed one earlier and a huge piece...

Ive read about people putting foil screens behind their radiators....im taking all mine off soon to plaster , are they worthwhile ?

I was going to use the new THUNDERBOLTS , they are like self tappers for the met posts u drill a pilot hole and torque them in using a spanner , if i use them and epoxy will that be strong enough ?? The bricks look new or nearly new and arnt crumbling so if i get a reasonably long bolt it...

get a bag of bonder m8 ( dot'n dab ) from local builders merchants...invaluable stuff..its like filla but sets like granite :) costs about 7 quid for20kg ! use a wall paper scraper to put it on..works a treat
