    the noise is a single clunk, but very loud. it occurs throughout the property. unable the measure the main pressure. yes, I mean the main stopcock. if its turned right down, the noise is very faint, but the flow rate is very low. thanks.

    have a problem with water hammer. this happens with hot and cold water. would fitting a none return valve on the outlet side of stop cock fix this? have turned the pressure down and no change. nor does increasing the pressure make any difference. any help would be appreciated thanks.
