Thank you oops. I didnt know the bigger the hole the quicker it hardens - I would have thought it would be the other way around. Learn something new every day !! I really thought I was doing something wrong when it was hardening so quick. Yep I agree there save money and sand down :-)

I was mixing it but after about 10mins it was so difficult to spread (virtually impossible tbh). It wouldnt smooth went very tacky - although it does give a good result nice and smooth I have to say I dont like it. On the tin it says it you have 20mins to work with and within 30 mins it dries...

Hi all I have half a tub of Ronseal 2 part wood filler but I have almost run out of the hardener (too heavy handed I think). Can I buy any hardener or do I have to throw the very expensive Ronseal away??? To be honestI found this hard to work with - dries so quickly. Any advice please?
