    Hello I have a single bricked garage external to the house with a concrete floor. As far as insulating the walls. I have been told semi permeable membrane, celotex/kingspan 75mm boards, polythene sheet, plasterboard all in wood studding. Is this about right ?

    Hi thanks for the reply, house was built in approx 1968-70 the garage is external to the house. So use a dpc on the concrete floor ie 1000ga and then a wooden structure 2" high, then the celotex on top of that then the chipboard flooring ? Walls are single skinned brick.
