    my television picture has just turned green and purple. i have adjusted the colour settings but nothing happens. can anything be done to resolve this problem, or do i need a new television?

    cable size.

    when installing a shower what cable size is required for 8.7kw. 6mm or 10mm? i think i have 6mm already installed. is this adequate?

    fuse size.

    How do i tell what size cable it is? do i measure it? the cable goes from the consumer unit, which is downstairs, under the upstairs floor boards then up to the loft. from the loft the cable to the shower is buried into the wall so that you can't see it.

    At the moment i have a 8.5kw shower and i am putting in a 8.7kw shower. I have a 32A MCB wired to the 8.5kw shower. Will this be enough for the 8.7kw shower or will i need a 40A MCB?

    john d. i read your previous article on the above telescopic radiator vales and this would solve my problem of a 75mm gap either side of my rad and valve. are they compressin fitted and i am not a good solderer.

    i have a speedfit 15mm x 1/2" flexi hose which i brought from focus and i have just noticed that it says it is not suitable for stainless steel pipes.

    i agree . it will look shyte. my problem. i have a 600mm towel radiator and my pipes are 750mm apart. as i am not good at soldering what can i use to fill the 75mm gap on either side using push fit or compression joints :?:

    i want to use a push fit / bsp threaded flexible hose to attach a radiator lockshield to a radiator valve tail. is this ok to do. thread to lockshied, push on to valve tail. the valve tail is stainless. do flexible hose work on stainless. :?: someone told me that they don't.

    i am going to order a flexible hose to go from a 15mm copper pipe to the toilet cistern. which size do i need as there are 2 to choose from 1. 15mm x 1/2" x 10mm bore or 2. 15mm x 1/2" x 13 mm bore. is the bore size important :?: i am going for a push fit one end.

    i am currently altering my bathroom and i am wandering if push fit connectors are as reliable as soldered joints? has anyone had any problems with them?
