Radiator shades of white RAL 9010 vs RAL 9016

:? Hi I need to find a radiator for a bathroom that has a nice white bright finish. I thought I had found one but double checked what RAL 9016 meant. The site I landed at showed RAL 9016 to be off-white i.e. slightly grey. Where as RAL 9010 seems to be brilliant white. I was...

Any idea what this finish is on the walls?

:? Hi I hope I'm in the right group, maybe this falls under building - not sure. To able to re-tile a bathroom, I used a heat gun to remove B&Q type white adhesive, so I have a smooth surface for the tiles. While removing the old adhesive grooves, I came across many areas that looked...

Blimey I didn't know I'd cause so much trouble - tetchy or what. All the advice from the post of the 20/11/2010 were taken on board and noted. It would seem that Ban All Sheds does not like halogen lighting - I get it. In fact I've read so many other post's regarding LV halogen lighting...

    Redundant Ceiling Pendant - Help!

Sorry for the delay. Thanks for your help. LUCKY; ROOM A didn't have a fan BUT the way the rooms were set up meant that you would turn on the old utility room light to get to the old toilet room - and then also turn on the toilet light (so unless you wanted to walk in the dark there...

Can I use BAL Single Part Flexible on these surfaces?

UPDATE I have just found out, that the fawn coloured bonding coat might be CEMENT/SAND rendering. If it is, can I STILL use SBR primer? I ask because BAL info/pictures does not state a primer on cement sand rendering. I don't want to mess up! Thanks.

Rainwater Gully Surround Cracked - what to do?

Thanks noseall. Not the trap - just the surround that holds the cast iron grid in place. At the moment the iron grid is not horizontal - it's leaning/tipping down by about 1 inch. This is because the surround has broken down to nothing.

Rainwater Gully Surround Cracked - what to do?

:?: Hi The drain that takes the guttering water away was blocked. When I removed the leaves etc, I found that the 6" square cast iron gully cover was leaning over, i.e. not being supported by the surround. I thought that this surround would have been cast iron as well, but it seems...

Why is plasterboard cut off like this (see image) ?

Thanks for your help. The penny has just dropped - the 'dip' as you say is so the filler becomes in line with the board. What I meant by I cannot skim the ceiling; I can't do it myself as I have a neck problem. I think it might be eaiser to get a plaster in - weighing up the cost of...
