Hello, The front and rear footwwells of my sons mk4 Golf estate have started filling up with water in wet weather. We can't find the source, there are no holes in the floor. Could anyone suggest any known problem leaky areas with this model please?.

Spot on. Many thanks. Son had replaced rear light bulb with stop/tail bulb which had disintegrated. I suspect a possible melted wire somewhere now. Happy days!!. :)

Have you had any covers off/taken any screws out?. If so you could have put a long screw back in the wrong place and it's now catching the flywheel or something. (Don't ask how I would know!). :oops:
