    hello, my house has a conventional open vent system. whenever the heating is on, the cold tap in the bathroom (which is fed from the storage tank in the loft) comes out hot. any ideas what this could be? cheers, Rich

    you mean just the way the pipes go round? is the trap the u shaped curvy bit that has the bit of water to stop smells getting back?

    ah ok, i thought it was with baxi/potterton boilers. if not fair enough. from what i read generally most people's problems are associated with combis, it would seem traditional boilers are more reliable, is that so?

    Hello, i need to bleed a radiator at home, but the square bit that you put the bleed key onto has been worn away and now the bleed key wont grip it. Is there any other way to bleed it apart from trying to use pliers?
