    scantronic i-on160ex + isd02 - line fail

Good morning, I've setup an i-on160ex with the speak dialer, isd02. The dialer doesn't seem to be able to see the telephone line - though the connections are made to the master socket (Socket was just installed last week if it makes any difference and is 5c marked by bt). Tests so far: on the...

Morning all, The manual says i can connect two batteries - but i can only see connections on the panel for one. Is it only on certain boards or do i need to wire them in parallel?

Honeywell galaxy dimensions 96 - easy mapping for config?

Sorted that issue... Not sure on the wiring colours, manual shows a yellow on back page, in the end I just used a piece of cat5, a to a, b to b and + to +, - to -. Went into and out of engineering and found new module, pinged from laptop and found something at the end.

Honeywell galaxy dimensions 96 - easy mapping for config?

Some progress today, managed to name and set my zones up (i think!) bit of confusion re the entry/exit zones. Need some help with groups if anyone has experience. The touch center says group a has a fault, but not what the fault is... and also is there anything to note when setting up groups...

Honeywell galaxy dimensions 96 - easy mapping for config?

Hi all, I've just installed and powered up a Honeywell galaxy dimensions 96 panel, with two touch centers and a Mk7 keypad. The programming menu seems a bit of a mess in the manual, certainly not as easy to understand and follow compared to my previous experience with scantronic 9751/2 and...

    Honeywell viper wiring

Interesting, so i can set the two without contacts as 24 hour monitored, but the one with a door contact has to be armed/disarmed as part of the door zone? As such, if the zone is disarmed, someone could set it off and the alarm wont activate?

    Honeywell viper wiring

I have three honeywell vipers - two are just vibration, third is with door contact. All three will be wired to their own zones - so i dont care too much re first to alarm, and two of the three will be hidden behind a panel, so dont really need the led either. I'm using a galaxy dimensions 96...

    Non-Maintained emergency light kit

Hey, that's the problem I had, and reading back, you are looking to put it exactly where I have, bottom of the stairs/ close to front door... Ie light the way out. As I said in my earlier post, it's costly, but seems to do what I need, without having to have a different light fitting. It's a...

    Non-Maintained emergency light kit

Hello, so far I've had no issues (but no long unplanned power outages either!) I tested mine for a duration, after initial charge while doing some tidying work (testing and marking old consumer unit circuits), well over an hour and light was on with no noticeable dimming. I'm aiming to get a...

    Rad getting hot with hotwater

Got this sorted eventually, ufh now goes via tank, actuators on manifold don't heat up floor unless they are open, do no heating when water is on. Also got wiring swapped so hot water is wired seperatly, as hot water priority... Well sort of! My dial channel programmer doesn't allow for a...

    External Insulation DIY - questions

Tomfe, that's basically what I was thinking in terms of fixing the windows. (Though not sure how I can do the round bay and keep it strong!) Do you have pics of the internal setup of those? Or drawing of the cross section?
