    I plan to lay a concrete floor approx. 14 sqr metres depth of 100mm.Can you advise how much ballast I need working on a 5:1 ballast/cement mix? I think this is about 1.4 cubic metres.I imagine something around 2 tonnes of ballast and 16 bags cement with some thing to spare .

    I want to use a powdered (cement) adhesive for some wall tiles but have found it hard to source a suitable product.Which adhesive (Dunlop?) is widely available .I want to avoid the stuff sold in DIY sheds.Will builders merchants stock such items?

    Best way to fix aquapanel

    I want to fix aquapanel to wooden battens and run cold feed to shower behind panels.Do I need to buy Aquapanel ceramic screws or can I use a cheaper alternative?Is it worth varnishing battens in case of moisture ingress?

    Maximum run for 25A cable

    I need a long cable run from consumer unit to pole switch in bathroom to feed electric shower.Part will be buried behind conduit in wall,part in the loft void.I do not want to get a quote from spark pal if it means wasting time needlessly. I imagine the run will be about 8-10 metres in total.

    Just rung Corgi pal and he seems to think it might be air pressure switch.Any second opinion?It does not square with fault-finder but I do respect his opinion based on previous experience.

    Thanks for tip Tony.I will leave it to Corgi friend as it is a let property and I do not wish to put others and myself at risk.I have found that Grundfos 60/15 pump will do the job and they are reasonably priced
